Finn Moray, the Scotland based music project built on a Social Compact that returns 50% of net profits to community causes, today confirmed Lisa Manson as the third singer awarded a featured vocalist role on the forthcoming album AON: THE GATHERING.
Lisa Manson joins two previously announced community voices, Adele Henderson from Aberchirder and Rhuaridh McHardy from Netherley, near Stonehaven. Both singers are in the studio next week to record their vocals for ‘Foggie’ and ‘I’m The Bridge (And You’re All Just Passing Through)’, as the album moves into what the team describe as a true gathering moment for the project.
Finn Moray has confirmed that the Caithness singer for the Dunbeath track, ‘The Silver Darlings’, has been agreed, with further details to be announced within the next two weeks. We’ve also launched a competition with the Scottish Football Supporters Association, which we hope will find the singer for ‘The Bard #2’, the SFSA’s official World Cup song.
Next week, the Finn Moray team travels to Shetland to film Lisa’s interview during Up Helly Aa season, with interviews led by well-known BBC radio and TV presenter and broadcaster Richard Gordon and direction by Calum Youngson, former Bloomberg producer and director.
David Sheret, founder of Finn Moray, said: “We’re really pleased with the pace. Lisa is our third awarded singer, Adele and Rhuaridh are in the studio next week, and The Silver Darlings vocalist is agreed with more to share within the next two weeks. You can feel the whole piece coming together now, as a proper Scottish Social Compact, built on action, not promises.”
Lisa Manson said: “I’m proud to be part of Finn Moray and honoured to be one of the voices on AON: THE GATHERING. The Social Compact is the kind of idea you want to stand behind. Having the team coming up during Up Helly Aa season makes it even more meaningful, because it is community in motion, which is exactly what this project is about.”
Call for singers
Finn Moray is still looking for singers for remaining songs on AON: THE GATHERING, with a particular focus currently on finding community voices from Fife, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire, the Scottish Borders, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. Vocalists with a strong connection to place, a distinctive voice, and the appetite to represent their community through a national project rooted in local giving are invited to get in touch.
Social Compact in action, good causes properly started
Finn Moray confirmed it has already begun early giving under the Social Compact since January 2026. Donations have been made to the following causes and charities, with thanks to those who raised awareness and guided the team:

The Finn Awards, Scotland 2026
Finn Moray also confirmed it is in the process of establishing The Finn Awards, Scotland 2026, planned for Q3 2026, with venue and final date to be confirmed.
The Finn Awards will recognise Scotland’s leading social media influencers and digital creators, celebrating the people who define, connect, and amplify Scotland’s digital culture across platforms. The awards are designed to combine professional recognition with practical community benefit, linking achievement to giving.
The Finn Awards will feature 15 categories, covering major areas of influence and impact, culminating in an overall national award. Each prize is split 50 50 between the winning creator and their chosen Scottish charity.
Category awards
Each category winner receives £1,000, split £500 to the creator and £500 to their chosen Scottish charity.
Overall award
The overall Scottish winner receives £5,000, split £2,500 to the creator and £2,500 to their chosen Scottish charity.
David Sheret said: “Scotland has a creator class that deserves to be taken seriously. People who build audiences through craft, consistency, and character, and who often carry community on their shoulders without ever calling it that. The Finn Awards is our way of recognising that work properly, with heart, and with a structure that ensures the value flows back into Scotland through each winner’s chosen charity whilst also supporting and recognising them.”
