Jill and I spent Christmas up in Dunbeath visiting her dad, Charlie, and her uncle, Sammy. During a couple of dog walks with Corry, who is always very happy to be out and about, I filmed a little of Dunbeath and the surrounding area on my iPhone and cut it together over The Silver Darlings, the song I wrote for Charlie.
Dunbeath is a lovely wee town on the north east coast of Scotland, in Caithness. If you are ever up that way, you should visit. It is a beautiful corner of the world. And it puts the old line to bed that the weather is always bad in Scotland in December.
The Silver Darlings is on AON: THE CALL. You can buy the album by clicking here.
